| I read pretty good suggestions.I use one of those all the time.Music.But my suggestion is just start thinking the reason of thinking these things or get a conclusion of the things you think,or you'll just end up hearing music all the time or doing what makes you forget..

| I apologize for making a *** of myself on this forum, Ill try to explaine why I do this? I am expirancing God in a profound way, there is so much about God, and life that is so overwhelming, and its very hard for me to put it in words. I think this may be hapaning to other people as well, I can very well feel the Christ consiousness. People are learning so much so fast. There is so many things going on like prophecys, and dates, weather.... Theres just so much going on in my mind and spirit. I have so many questions... Im fixing to start rambaling againe so Ill stop. Back to my question... how can I stop thinking so much, or atleast keep it from being so spiritualy overwhelming? |
If it is really "spiritually overwhelming" than do not see reason to stop it. If it is just mental bubbles than you can tray some of already suggested methods control your mind. Or, you can try to finish off such activity of mind by deeply understanding subject matter of which you are thinking about (long, long, long, uncertain and exhausted way) and in that way put period on your "long-sentenced" thoughts, although there are shorter ways.

I know I'm blunt about, almost everything, and I know I don't read anyones post except the first, so forgive me.
Like I said I only read the first post on this thread, and the only way I can think of to make you stop thinkin, is really to think, might sound crazy, but total concentration on nothing might pay off, any views on this from other people?

Extremely difficult (and also, irritating) better to concentrate on "something", but just one object, or visualization of simple object as orange.

Pretty good petter, the only problem is when your own self asks you why to SHUT UP?I've tried many times but it looks that in my case antibodies for that matter grew,so myself always answers to when i tell him something...

| Oh, I know something you can do to empty your mind for some eight hours or so: read a Harry Potter book. Ask Magnus if it doesn't clear your mind for as long as it takes to read it, apparently he just finished rereading one of the books. ^^

You know, I once were in a similar state, but not related to anything that could be spiritually overwhelming, and got out of it very easly by writing and reading books. Good books though -- I'd say doing anything just to get it out of your mind is such a waste! When you're in such an overwhelming state of awareness of how overwhelming life is (I do mean to sound redundant here) you should enjoy it! Transform it in art, by painting, drawing (but really drawing, not scretching on the paper tip), writing, playing music etc.(I used to talk out loud whatever of beautyful or thruthful or profound I could imagine, and it sure is quite releaving and completing) or read good books (and watch good movies, etc.) so they can ease your thoughts for a while and still help you go further in you thinking!
Being in touch with the World (and doing something useful of yourself) is also helpful, if you know what I mean. Don't be an oster.

I am in the same condition with you, Area51. Since 2004 that I have been awakened (not only about the Mayan prodecies) extremely complex and upper level ... labyrinth thoughts and feelings occur inside me.
Let's enhance them, this is the road to a higher dimension. Don't stop.

Just breathe.
The answers will come the more you assimilate and accept the current level of knowledge you have.
The key is to keep your head in the clouds and your feet on the ground. If you let either become unbalanced, suffering occurs. Easier said than done but even a 1000 mile journey begins with one step. Accept that what you want will be given to you if you are true to yourself.
