i have always kept my desktop blank. that is the pretty blue standard microsoft one. blue is my favourite colour.
i have never found an image worth saving as my desktop and besides id get bored of it very quickly so i dont bother.

I have this retarded bluish black wallpaper that looks like cosmic diarrhea. 
Mine is Van Gogh’s “Starry Night” but I used a special technique with photoshop to make it look like its made out of legos.

it has files at the bottom for a “lego block” pattern which can be put under an image after you use the “pixelate” filter. The link is for the Gimp, but could be adapted for photoshop
