Hello, and sorry if i have this in the wrong place, corrections are appreciated.
I have been for several months trying to get a time to go to a place in my city that carries essential oils. I have had considerable lucid dreaming experience when i was younger, and the first book on LDing i read said that clary sage is supposed to help considerably in aiding lucid dreaming.
Tomorrow i will most likely get to buy some clary sage oil, and I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with it. I understand that it is a close relative of salvia divinorum, a hallucinatory legal plant, but other than that, i know very little of clary sage's effects and would like to hear some experiences.

I've used it, suspended in a carrier oil as part of a Lucid Dreaming kit I bought from a book store, so I am sure it's not harmful. Actually I think that's why it's suspended in an oil, to dilute it and make sure it's absolutely safe.
As for it's effects, I can't quite remember what they are supposed to be, but I seem to remember something about serotonin being affected by Clary Sage. I'll have to go read up on it....
I know that my sleeps did seem to be more restful and of course, I did have lucid dreams, however I think this is because of the lucid dreaming techniques and sleep schedule I was useing rather than the clary sage.

| it usualy isn't the substance that does it, it's usually techniques and sleep schedules.

yeah i got the clary sage oil and rubbed some of it on during the day at school. It was pretty cool, made me feel good but it has a very strong smell.
I rubbed some on before bed and every night since then I have had very vivid and long dreams, but i really can't wait to get an LD after a night of using it.
