I don't find it easy at all. The only time I flied in a dream was unvolontary, and not lucid.
The thing is I cannot just lift of the ground, even in LDs. I think it doesn't make sense for my brain.

I don't really know about the HI, but I've read somewhere it's better not to move your eyes until you fall asleep.

I think MILD is the most "common" method to LD.
I started using this one and got very good results, plus it's easier than WILD or WBTB.
