Every time i wake up during the night, if i am tired. I will always fall asleep instantly. So if you try to chain dreams it would also be a upside to be tired.

Never tried it but in theory i think that it's true, that being tired will benefit your lucid dreaming. One thing is that, when you're tired you will probably not wake up as easy as when you have slep ...

This would be truly awesome.... if i understand how you mean, so the dreamer may plug some kind of brainwave reading device or whatever to your brain and then it convert into a video file? :D

It started with a FA i had where i was reaaally tired and saw everything blurry , but that would not fool me. I did a Reality check, and guess what? i was dreaming. I was really happy that it happened ...

That technique sounded awesome! About the light issue, try to use a shortcut like making it day and being outside. Have a nightlight it could actually help to have some external light.

I had a couple of lucid dreams to where all i remember is becoming lucid. Just lie in the bed until the dream comes back, if it dosen't it's ok you will have more lucid dreams.
