I do the nose-pinch RC dozens of times a day out of habit now. Once you do it a few times you can do it very discretely, and it's never backfired in a dream (i.e., it always gets me lucid).

When I first started having LD's years ago (before I even know what an LD was), it was because it was a bad dream, and I'd just say "Oh, it's a dream, I'll wake up now."
