I think I have a problem (sleep doing?)

Someone tell me what this is please :meh:

Usually once or twice a month, I have a dream, where I am in my house, I cannot feel my body moving, and I cannot see anything (usually all white or cloudly/foggy area). I have no emotions in these dreams, I don’t feel tired, sick, mellow, afraid etc. The things I do though, are weird and make no sense to me  Last time I had this dream was a week ago. Here’s what happened: I took my bed sheets, folded them neatly, and shoved them into my full dresser. I opened all the windows downstairs (to let someone in? ) I brought up old computer hardware from my basement into my room on my naked bed. I changed the password on my dad’s computer. I have no freaking idea, how the hell I did this while in a sleeping state? My parents found me that morning sleeping without a shirt in my dogs bed w/ my dog. :bored:

Does anyone know how to stop this? I dont want to find myself naked down the street on this girl’s front porch with a broken motherboard in my hand :\ These things happen at the weridest times too. The night before I have those sleep walking things are normal average days, nothing special goes on during the day, I have no stress, nadda. But when I wake up, I feel like i ran the boston marathon. My body is so tired, hungry, weak and usually have scrathes/bruises :help: . I can’t imagine ever going camping, I’d get lost and eaten :content:

I also find myself sleepwalking (not doing crazy stuff, just walking) around the house on almost a nightly basis. I wake up sitting at the dinner table with a spoon in my hand or downstairs on the carpet in the living room with a video game controller. I dont mind this stuff, I dont feel tired in the morning, nor do I have blank dreams, but still…

Am i supposed to tie myself down or something? I dont want to do this anymore :help:

Hi Konefku, welcome to the forum!

Your case seems to be pretty extreme. Perhaps the mechanism of sleep paralysis (SP) isnt working in your body when you are dreaming? SP normally takes care that we cant act out our dreams or move whatsoever (exept primary systems ofcourse, like breathing).

I think your case is severe enough to go see a specialist on the topic, someone who specifically deals in sleeping disorders. But perhaps there’s other people on the forum that can be of more help, since I never experienced sleepwalking or anything of the kind. I hope you find a solution to your problem!
