Great idea - these quests!
my problem is like this:
when im finding out im dreaming i get so exciting and i dont know what to di and eventually i wake up.
so this is a great idea for me, in my next LD ill try to find a mirror.

Amazing reports!I read them all carefully and i something made me think.If i got it right Q and Iluminada had almost shared dream.I mean they met behind the mirror.Different times but still.Iluminada said she was kept there against her will alike and Q wrote she pulled her hand.
Im not sure if thats right,but still- wonderfull stories.

This was definately too short time…quests like this should go on for at least few months longer,maybe divided in monthly stages where each stage would have to do with mirror travel but with different subtask or kind of.
Just an idea- its hard to give your subcounciousness different quest so often.Not mentioning the possibility of flowing it with too many.
well normally it would last 4 weeks (1 moon) but i started the first halfway through a moon; I can expand it for another moon if more people want 
I had an LD this morning. Well, sort of. The dream started out normal, and I dreamed that for some reason, I’d volunteered for some ghost-hunter show to try and debunk something. A huge, absurd yellow helmet was put on my head and the heads of some other volunteers. (At this point, the ghost-hunter show had magically become an episode of MythBusters.) I didn’t become fully, 100% lucid, I thought I was going to be pulled out of the experiment at some point.
They were experimenting/debunking something about the brain, or dreams, or something. To cut to the chase, I asked the group of other volunteers if I could go and do whatever I wanted to. (We all knew we were in a dream state, but they had never heard of LDs.) They said “Sure, whatever.”
Somewhere along the line, I ended up in my room, next to my dresser. On the floor, there was a small mirror with a pink frame/handle. I said something like “Activate,” and a little green light came on, on the right side. I stated where I wanted to go, and a little red light came on, right below the green light. I jumped in feet-first.
It was like diving into a column of water. I was in a tube filled with a slightly-cold, clear liquid (I’m assuming it was water) and everything around me was pitch-black, save for white light coming from two identical mirrors. One was above me and one was below me. The bottom mirror pulled me in, and I fell through it and landed more-or-less comfortably in the place I wanted to go. Fortunately, nobody wondered about the mirror that was somehow in the ceiling. 
I did the same thing twice, though the second time I stated who I wanted to find instead of a location.

I tried this one last night and failed. Here’s what happened.
It was a beautiful sunny day and I was in a huge oval skating ring. There was a bunch of snow. (kinda like it is right now outside at my house.) Anyway, for some reason I was in a race with some tall blond female skater. She was going extremely fast and I couldn’t keep up. The race was wierd. There were those spinning fire opsticals the you find in the first Super Mario Bros. and every lap they’d get bigger or start spinning faster or change color. By this time I knew it was a dream so I flew as high as I could and hit the sky. (I love flying) Then I flew down and went searching for a mirror.
I thought of going through the ice because it could reflect but I wasn’t sure if I was allowed so I continued searching. There was a random house nearby and I went inside. The most I’d find was glass. I got a lot of “Who are you?” and “What are you doing in my house??” and I’d be
“Sorry ma’am. I don’t normally bardge into peoples’ houses but I need this mirror for a quest I’m on.”
That probably sounded wierd. lol
Anyway, I came to the living room and the husband of the house was there. He grabbed my arm and attempted to escort me out. I was going to punch him out but things got brighter and my LD ended. The brightness came from the sun pouring down into the room when I woke up.
I’ll try again next time.

Hm… I dunno. First thing that came to mind was “find a mirror.”
I thought of that too when I woke up. I was like, damn! So close! Then I was thinking about how stupid I was not to just make one appear!

I’m determined to do this one… through the mirror, everything will be opposites then, wouldn’t it?
I had 4 LD’s last night. In the first one (which was really long) I remembered the mirror quest. I found a mirror in the house I was in and pushed against it. It only moved. I tried again and it bended. Then I focused on what I wanted to do and started going through it head first. (nearly got stuck in between) What I saw was a music box. It was playing a little song and you could litarally see the notes coming out of it. I didn’t take it. Dunno why. I just memorized the song it was playing. I’ll put it up once I make it a midi.
The dream was really long and it would take me a long time to write it all down. There was a lot of music in this dream.
At least I completed the quest! 
I managed to complete the quest, too. It usually helps if you jump into the mirror, head first. It has helped for several people including me.

It was surprisingly mundane, for such a cool concept. Still fun though.
I finally did this quest.
[LD]I realize I’m dreaming as I’m in the forest. I remember the quest and tell the guy who had previously been hunting me (but I now have as a tame DC) “You know, there’s actually a mirror on the other side of this tree.” I walk around the tree, expecting the mirror, and there it is.
First, I look at myself, because I think it’d be a good opportunity to see your own self-image. I look good. I try to tell the difference between the image I see and how I really actually look. But I get bored of that because I am anxious to get through the mirror!
I walk straight into it and find myself walking straight out the other side. No wait, it’s straight out the same side I went in! I was simply reflected =P[/LD]
I completed this task, but the results were not too exciting 
I will try this task again to see if the same thing happens.
