when iBooks “sleep” (appropriately enough) a white light over the display pulses like a slow heartbeat.
I sleep either near my iBook, either next to it or near it. though I find it hard to sleep with the light active, when I have ended up sleeping next to it, lucid dreams seem to occur to me more.
if not, in theory the pulsing light could work in the same way as a cruder version of the brain devices for getting lucid via dreams.
as of yet I haven’t tried to deliberately use my iBook this way.
Ah. I have an iBook, G5, Midi Interface, and Display light on the comupter area in my bedroom. The lights get slightly out of sync with one another and make some neat patterns, although I dont know if this affects my dreams.
