I don't understand what you're meant to image. You say dots but could you be a more specific on this part? You say it becomes clear and you're in a LD, So the dots become clear and you then become lucid. And this is normal Time? eh

imaging will start to seem real and you are Lucid!

So I imagine a picture, Say a car. It moves, I keep thinking of this until the image seems real and i'm then lucid?

That is how I do it... It works for me about 90% of the time.. great method.
Mine I get sleepy and relaxed. Close my eyes when I start seeing the HI I know I'm getting close.
I had a short LD earlier today doing this.

First if you think that you are about to sleep ur SC will not let you fall asleep and you could use that if it works for you as long as you do not think about it too much.
I like to use stick figures in a line waiting to enter a cube. They enter the cube and come out the other side and get back on line. Some of the figures are blue some are green. The blue figures are cutting the line to the front until no greens go though.

Ya I no I'm weird. angry grin3

also, since this will be the first lucid of the night (not even REM) It wouldn't be very vivid, and you wouldn't remember it..

My Girlfriend does it that way every night. She only dreams LD's not normal dreams. So it is possible and a very good method to become lucid i guess.

I'll try tonight anyway!

Sounds great! I fall asleep in 5 seconds so I think it'll be pretty easy to me.

NOTE: Your results may vary

Basically what I do is get in a perfectly conformable position and relax. I close my eyes and I clear my mind. Then when I feel completely relaxed I picture very simple repetitive images in my head. The idea of this is to make it seem like you are already LDing but your not. I like to picture something like a line of dots with the first dot moving at a fast pace in a circular path to the back of the line (I use better ones but they are hard to explain). If you do this without thinking to hard and not making any movements the thing your imaging will start to seem real and you are Lucid! DON'T GET EXITED or you will wake up. After a while of this loose Lucidity I get into a deeper sleep and I am done.

What do you think about this? Good? Bad?

why wouldnt this be good, its great

Tryed this last night. Something Definitly happend.

I puctured the dots, all in a line, the one at the front went through the barrier and went to the back off the line. At this time i already had lots of HI, lots of blue streaks (been really tired). I then suddenly remember hovering above my chair in my room, I could actually still hear my parents talking in the other room and i thought 'where i am' I suddenly then came back into conciousness and I fell and hit the chair but i actually hit the bed. Well it felt like it, I then listened, my parents were still talking, I then did a reality check but no dream. I then must of fell asleep.

I must of done it, Fell into a half dream. I remember hearing my parents, and it felt like I was in two places at once. I then woke up from the fall and maybe the excitment (However, i never get excited, I always keep my cool) But good tech.

This overall took 30 seconds, neat! xD
