Stupid WILD Question :(
PostPosted: Mon 16 Jun, 2008  Reply with quote

Sorta a stupid question but during a WILD would you close your eyes? When i close my eyes and count 1 Im dreaming, 2 im dreaming etc.. I simply fall asleep.

Oh and also stupid but...I dont know how to tense myself sadblauw Like...when i try i have to move to make the body part rigid and straight to make it tense. Like my arm for instance. I just don't get it!!

You want to practice WILD in the morning, with a few hours of sleep beforehand^^
4.5 to 6 hours is good.
Then, when you are awake, get up and read some stuff on lucid dreaming or go take a leak.
Then, go back to sleep. And practice relaxation as advised during WILD.

The method SRV73 mentions works for a lot of people.
Another method you may want to try when practicing WILD is to wake up after a few hours of sleep, but don't actually get out of bed. Wake yourself up enough so that you 're aware of what is going on, and try to recall the dream you were having without moving around too much.
After a few minutes, try and go back to sleep. Different things work for different people, so you will probably have to experiment a little. wink5

Current LD goal(s): Finding a reliable flying method.
