Best Video Games Of All Time

I must add a few to my list. First off, Super Mario Bros. 3. I played my brother’s version for gameboy advanced, and it was amazing. Classic storyline, but brilliantly executed.

Next, Kirby Super Star for SNES. This collection of games is prolly what made Kirby so awesome for me.

  1. Killer Instinct. I loved this game; its sleek black cartridge, interesting graphics, and fun gameplay, plus the introduction of C-C-C-COMBO BREAKER!

Finally, Mario and Luigi: Superstar Saga. This was the second greatest Mario RPG (Behind the superior Super Mario RPG). The game had humour, a great storyline, interesting gameplay mechanics, and an overall awesome look to it.

mario,zelda,monster hunter,assasins creed,kinectimals,spiderman:shattered demensions,any marvel game,classics(pacman,destroyer,dig-dug), the list goes wayyyyyyyyy on.

Mass effect 2, Mount and blade warband, Metal gear solid (1-4), Half life series.

I’m not sure if Dwarf Fortress counts, but it deserves a mention for it’s awesomeness.

Shadow of The Colossuss is another game that literally made me fall for it when I first faced these gigantic bosses  plus the music is very good too :content:

The minus though is that once the bosses are dead this game is better left unplayed for Quite a while

Hmm… I’m not today’s gamer, and not quite a retro gamer…

Regardless; Super Mario Land, only on Gameboy, a great game, with unusual but awesome music, simple goal, and a fun game, despite the dust.

Tetris. What more can I say?

Tony Hawks’ Pro Skater 2 for Nintendo 64. A surprisingly fun game, with a lot to do. Even after beating it many, many times, with multiplayer and personal challenges, I had a lot to do with the game.

Donkey Kong 64. As you may be able to see, I liked the N64. It was a fun game, with good graphics for the time, an interesting plot, fun characters, and clever puzzles and challenges. Another childhood gem.

I know there’s more, but it’s gonna have to wait for another post. Maybe.

Yeah that was a good one. I like 4 best though… better than the undergrounds.

I don’t play games anymore, but my best games of all time are.

.Diddy Kong Racing For the N64.
.Bomberman.
.Halo PC and Halo 3.

  1. Final Fantasy VI (3)
  2. Chrono Trigger
  3. Star Ocean II: The Second Story
  4. Disgaea

The Legend of Zelda turns 25 today.

In terms of gameplay:

StarCraft: BroodWar - Don’t need to say much here, there is reason why this game; and no other, still has a professional scene with top players getting paid over a million a year and attendance at major finals in excess of 100k.

In terms of being a great game/story/etc:

Final Fantasy 7
The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time

While i haven’t played tons of games these two are massive standouts to me, by far the two best I have played.

I also think that the GTA series deserve a place here, because they made a really big impact on the gameworld… especially I, III and IV, which were just something new and special when they came out.

My favourite is still SA though.

 When I first played GTA it was a new way to play video games  and San Andreas is indeed the best one of the GTA games

Okami. How could I forget Okami?

It has an amazing story, great artistic style, innovative gameplay, unique style, and is overall amazing. Most people agree that it’s better than Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess.

Mechwarrior 2. Graphics weren’t exactly fantastic, but that game was addicting!!

Dragon Age : Origins was so awesome !!!
Have one of you guys ever played this magnificent game ?

Dragon age was one of my favorite games and have played through it countless times. have you played the second one Ive heard it was good from some and others didn’t like it but i haven’t got it yet.

I’m not much of a gamer. In fact, I’m hardly a gamer. One of like… maybe 20 guys in my school who don’t play a lot of video games.

The games I have most enjoyed:

Paper Mario (the original 2)
Banjo Tooie (sequel only)
Any Zelda I’ve played (OoT, TP, LA, ALttP, OoX, FSA, TMC)
Little Big Planet (1 & 2)
Assassins Creed (1, 2, Brotherhood. Mostly 2)
Soul Calibur (Almost any)

I don’t like fps games, mostly because I fail at them.

ICO. An amazing minimalist puzzle game. Hard to describe.

i say arkham asylum it has great mechanics great story and lets face it you cant help but love that bat claw (grappling hook). And its literaly to this day the best comic book game yet due to its loyalty to the comic series while providing a fresh story and always keeping you on your toes with stealth and combat.

bioshock is great as well for its first person shhoter although a little lack luster in the sequal.

Used to be a huge hardcore gamer. Past 3-4 years it’s been somewhat mellow. But I’m gonna make a triumphant return.

I once wrote a Top 49 of my favorite games of all time. Might have to dig that up and revise it (was written in 2006 I think, and plenty of great games have come along since then).

One of my favorites will always be Lufia II: Rise of the Sinistrals, though.
