As some of you may know i have been trying on and off for about a year and a half, maybe longer and although ive realised im dreaming a few times , i finally had my first lucid that lasted more than the realisation.
It was about 5-10 seconds and involved me realising, then everything slowly turning blurry. I screamed “lucidity x100” then started rubbing my hands but i couldn’t prevent the dream from fading.
Sometimes it can be really difficult to maintain those first couple of lucid dreams. Don’t worry, that feeling of lucidity can be really surprising, but as time goes on you’ll find it easier to control. But now that you do know what lucidity feels like, try to hold onto that feeling. As you go to sleep think about that feeling of awareness, it can really make a difference.
