Sleep paralysis in the wrong room
PostPosted: Thu 19 Jul, 2012  Reply with quote

I had a sleep paralysis the other night, where i lied in a bed. It feelt really real and i felt pressure in various places. When i woke up i realized it wasn't even my room. My question is, was this a dream or sleep paralysis?

When you get sp you are actually experiencing a dream already. Just relax stay passive and go with it. Sometime you won't even be in your room. Other times you won't even have a body or any senses and will be in a void of nothingness. Sometimes you might just be in your room.

You should not compare these concepts like that. A dream is a dream, a sleep paralysis happens when you are dreaming. Sleep paralysis is just a mechanism, while a dream is a type of hallucination, happening while you are paralysed. If you saw something, it was a dream. A simple and plain SP doesn't make you see anything, it is the HI, HH and dreams that do.
