My Personal LD-Course that i'm trying over the holidays,
PostPosted: Mon 30 Jul, 2012  Reply with quote

Well the holidays started here in the UK about a week ago and i'm guessing most of the world has start the holidays. Anyway I am super eager to learn to become lucid so I have made up my own course that I will follow and post results on this post, feel free to join in guys the more people doing the course the better here is the schedule for the course. It is quite intense so I would only recommend doing this if you really want to learn lucid dreaming. I would expect at least 5 LD's by the end of the summer siiw (estimate)
THE COURSE,

Week 1- Start up your dream journal, mainly focus on remembering your dreams and also start reality checking, if you don't know what that means google it. Finding your dream signs is also a great thing to do in the first week. Now one thing that I do recommend is buying a subliminal MP3 on lucid dreaming you can choose a site but I recommend <mod>link to vendor removed Rhewin</mod>. Now listen to this in the morning relax in your bed after waking up (of course write your dreams down first) it lasts 15 minutes and I would also do this before you go to bed if you want to (a very good idea). That is all you have got to worry about for week 1 remember to come back to this post if you have important info, like your first lucid dream.

Week 2- Keep doing the things from week 1 but we are also going to add some new things into the course like some techniques you can try. So hopefully now after the first week you can remember 1 dream a night at least and that is what the whole idea of week one was about (plus you might of got lucky and have your first lucid dream smile ) And now these techniques should be tried if you don't know them please research them. MILD, WBTB, SILD. Now I recommend you select 2 and do one method for half the week and the other on the next half. Also write even more detail into your dream journal because this helps a lot.

Week 3- Ok now the course is becoming quite heavy so you can drop a few things like one technique you practiced in week 2 and do reality checks less often (this is optional I just thinking that it could become quite hard for some people I am not going to drop a thing). Now week 3 is all about WILD because it is the gateway to lucid dreaming when you want so do this for the entire week 3.If for what ever reason you are scared of WILD (you should not be) then just continue your chosen method from week 2 for this week.

Week 4- We are coming close to the end of the course but for this week you can just test around and finally choose a method that is best for you, but guys whatever you do keep doing everything from step 1 because those are the most important things in the course. Now if you believe you can recognize dream signs quite easy then buying a dream mask would be a good option (they are expensive tho) because that could get you lucid every night wink.

Week 5 (Final Week)- Now that you have hopefully had a decent amount of lucid dreams you can write a list of things you want to do while lucid and cross them out as you go along and also its time to decide what you are going to keep doing from the course and what you are going to drop it is up to you. And also you can write a status report of the course on this post. And finally it might be time to face your fears and try WILD if you didn't I was too scared but then I experienced it and sort of enjoyed it. Well thanks for reading this hopefully you will try it and get lucid this summer!

Good idea and nice schedule but from my experience you chose to little time for each part. Good luck though! ^^
