Remembering dreams in dreams?

| Remembering dreams in dreams? |

Well basicly I had a ND last night where I was a german soldier about to be executed for some reason. When someone asked me why I remembered that I disobeyed a direct order from Adulf Hitler. But i dreamt about disobeying orders about a year or two ago! In the dream it felt like a memory but when I woke I realised that it was a deam I had ages ago and that I totaly fergot about it!
So can you really remember dreams in dreams???
Has anyone had a similar experience??

There's a lot of topics on this. 
For me it happens quiet frequently. Sometimes dream me will say "I remember when I did blah" which did happen in another dream. It's like my dreams memories are all linked together just like my real life memories are. Like sometimes I will be running in a dream room and remember that something use to be there because I saw it in another dream. And that dream did really happen, either just before, a few nights ago, weeks ago or even years. It's pretty amazing how your dream memories work like that.

Very interesting, i'm gonna try and see if i can remember more past dreams in the future.  Maybe in a LD?
Haha people must be sick of the same old topics being asked by the new guys xD

I have this very often. I tend to remember that I had been in a similar situation before, while actually I remembered a dream.
Sometimes these dreams I remember inside dreams, are actually false memories.
