questions about daytime naps

I rarely dream during my afternoon naps. I wonder why

My typical nap lasts for one or maybe one and a half hour. I awake naturally, I use no alarm clock.

In the morning, after normal sleep, my dream recall is sufficient enough. So what makes the nap experience so different?

I don’t know in what extent REM sleep is occurring during daytime naps?
Maybe there was some research on the subject?

I hope somebody here on the forum has some answers

I would try varying the time of the naps. I find that I usually remember my dreams if I take short naps (20 min) or long naps (1 1/2 hours). Anything in the middle and for some reason I usually don’t remember my dreams. I hope this helped.

So you recognize the phenomenon of no dream recall after naps.
I think it is a good idea to experiment with the length of the naps.
