I know luciding is working on a transcranial electrical stimulation unit that detects REM sleep then delivers an electrical current to the prefrontal region of the brain to produce LDs. The research looks quite promising but the unit isn’t out yet. Foc.us also offers a unit that delivers estim at 40 hz but is on a timer instead of actually detecting REM. It costs about 300.00. It has been out for a while but I can’t find any reviews or studies on this unit. I would think if it worked well we would be hearing about it. Any feedback is appreciated.
