I write really slow and need light to do it, generally; this means waking up a bit more than I’d like.
Anyone know of a good way to have a keyboard hooked up to something that will just take my typing so that I can edit it later on my computer? (Computer is in a different part of the house.)
Why dont you use your smartphone and just record your dream via vioce record? 
I am allways using my iphone for recording what I dreamed. Its just the easiest way with recording my voice.
I have a pen that lights up at the tip. With that, I can write in the night without turning the light on. The main problem is how writing wakes me up so much that it takes a long time to fall asleep again.
Sometimes, a couple of well chosen keywords is all it takes to remember a dream later.
