The bonuses of A.S. + Lucid Living

I've been using autosuggestion before sleep, accompanied by a light use of the lucid living concept during the day. I've noticed a couple rewards outside of the realm of sleep.

For one, i have a very slight, medically induced short term memory loss. I experience many of those "what was i just doing?" moments during the day, and can forget a persons name weeks after meeting them, despite being around them everyday. But when i use autosuggestion before sleep, telling my s.c. that i will remember my dreams vividly, i not only remember them better, but also seem to have increased my spatial memory slightly. I face a lot less of these annoyances on a day to day basis, and tend to have better cognition while occupied and stressed out.

Lucid living also helps, because when i find myself in a mental fog, while i examine my situation critically, I've learned to take a step back, take a breather, and calm myself considerably more well than in the past, and get myself back to the current task (usually work) more efficiently.

Autosuggestion also tends to have increased my quality of sleep. I have myself wake up naturally after every dream period (for recall purposes), and this places my sleep cycle on a very desirable track. I find myself waking in the morning during the cycle back to stage 1 nrem sleep, the prime time to wake yourself up, compared to stage 3 deep sleep where you will find yourself extremely groggy and cranky. I've found i have much less mental crashes during the afternoon.

I hope bringing these positive things to light will further help motivate any of you to try as many LD tech's as you can. Have a good night smile
