Lately I have been able to becom aware in my dreams, but not able to realize Im dreaming. Ive tried RC, and it doesnt work for me. I cn become able to control, but not... able to realize Im dreaming. Any advice?

This seems very much like false lucid dream - FLD.
I guess you need to raise you general awareness and also practicing RC'ing.
Through the day ask yourself where are you, why are you here, what you were doing and what are you going to do. Combine that with a few RC's and that's it. Take time to practice this, don't expect results over night!

You could also try any of the methods described on the forum like WBTB, WILD, MILD etc. which are in the knowledge base
