I guess not, lucid dreaming is no different then non lucid dreaming at this kind of things, your body is paralyzed no matter if you are lucid or not. Only difference is that you are conscious and aware you still can't affect your physical body from the dream.

When you wake up, SP wears off and then you can open them...

I've experimented with it and I can say that you may wake up from a LD if you want to by simply opening your eyes. You do this by opening your eyes very wide in a dream and your IRL eyes should open as well. Maybe it won't work for you, I can't say, but I know that it worked for me and some other people here on this forum.

A LD is a dream. A dream is A LOT more vivid than a simple HI or HH. Also a good way of finding the difference between a dream and a hallucination is to see whether you have a dream body. If you have a body, it is most likely a dream. If you can see the difference between daydraming/HI/HH and dreams, you will see the difference between daydreaming/HI/HH and lucid dreams as well.

No, this happens to me as well.. REM is what happens when you are asleep.

If you're having trouble with keeping your eyes closed you should get a sleeping mask or find another solution.

You get this sensation when you are totally relaxed and focus on your eyes. It is simply an effect you feel when you are relaxed, but awake. It is in no way REM, not even SP.

I've had many LD's in which I couldn't see. To fix this I've tried opening my eyes and some of the times I'd end up opening my real eyes. (now, how can I be sure it wasn't just a dream sensation of me opening my eyes? I can't tounge2)
