| Glowing Dream Characters? |

Has anybody had the experience of encountering DCs who are glowing?
I can remember at least one, maybe two, experiences where this has happened. The first time I ever experienced the Void as a dreamer, I saw a human-like figure a long way off that was brightly glowing with a white-yellow light. I didn't approach it. This was one my first lucid experiences, and my first memory of the Void. I felt the being was friendly, but I didn't engage it.
The second time would be an encounter with a woman who I considered to be my anima. She also glowed with light.
A friend of mine has repeatedly encountered a friend in dreams who is glowing. That is, sometimes he is glowing and sometimes he isn't when she finds him. He's a DC who is also a real person IRL.
Do you ever meet DCs who are glowing?

I only remember encountering a gold or yellow glowing DC about 5 years ago. It was in a normal environment though?
Random thought: I need to visit the void more often for training

I never have experinced that. Maybe I will try to make one glow.

I've had one experience where a person was glowing, and that was someone i summoned. I also had a lucid dream a little while ago where i summoned my twin sister. Her hair and eyes were spectral, shifting and swirling into all colors of the spectrum. It's the first time I've ever seen something like that.

@Loah: Out of curiosity, how have you summoned people in dreams in the past? Finding specific persons is an LD goal of mine right now. So far I have had scattered luck with simply calling for them. Once I have been able to change dreams and meet them in the new dream scene.

two ways have worked for me. One is that I just wanted them to appear and they did. That's kindof following the typical logic in my lucid dreams. I want. It happens. The girl i wanted to appear I hadn't actually seen before, i just heard about, and was curious as to what she would look like given the description that other people described her as.
The second one I'm not sure why, but i instantly know if i cant just want someone to appear. They are usually very special people, like gods. These people I just wander around calling out their name, hoping they respond. And respond they have.
I was disappointed a couple nights ago. I had another LD, and i was trying to call out my twin sister again, but she wouldn't come to me. Though she's exceptionaly special herself. I think she really is another entity. I've been able to repeat a call out of people before, but just not her yet.
Oh, and calling out to them isn't a one shout show deal. I call out their name repeatedly and actually travel around looking for them. Sometimes they have shown up a little later once I've stopped searching, other times they respond after a little while, but actually searching for them might work.

I've observed dream figures that glow in regular dreams but not that I can recall in lucid dreams. Both people that glowed in my dreams, my uncle and a close friend, had recently passed away before I dreamed about them. Sounds cliché I know but it is true.
