Question on FILD

I’ve been trying this technique for 5 days now, which I know is not a lot, but I always hear on this forum how successful it is for everyone. I’ve tried setting my alarm for three four and five hours after I fall asleep. I wake up and immediately start the technique, and then i do a rc after thirty seconds to a minute. It’s never worked. I just want to know if I’m doing anything wrong so I domt continue to make the same mistake. Thanks

I’m not a pro FILDer at all but I would say that you shouldn’t do the technique right away. You should wait a couple of minutes until you feel like you could fall asleep any second and then you should do the technique.
