hmmm there is no way i am going to give it up. I am going to base my entire life on this and i intend to research it too. So one day you will see me talking about lucid dreaming and i wont be shy bout it eiter. i love this stuff and nothing could ever stop me from that.
I tend to have a pretty relaxed view about LDs, I just wait for one, and then when I have one, I think of what I want to do in the next one 
I don’t think I’d ever be able to not realize I’m dreaming for that reason… so… no

I’ve had LD’s for most of my 40 year old life, long enough to tell you this. It’s a bit like riding a bike, once you have it down you will never forget how to do it. You will still go through phases of interest but other things in life come along like work, babies - all sorts of things to distract your interest. Sometimes you get so busy you won’t remember a single dream for ages.
For me the interest has waxed and waned - a bit like the moon. But it will always be there when the interest reignites.
I would never give up on LD’ing not even for $1,000,000,000,000,000,000,000. No way!

But I still like to have NDs.
I don’t think I could. Back a couple months ago when the cartoons in the morning all became boring and so WBTB was deemed impossible I tried to give up. In that small period I had more LD’s and much better quality LD’s in two weeks than I had had in the months before it. It surprised the hell outa me and reminded me how fun they could be when they work.
I would agree if I was a lucid master like you, DM7.
But for me, anything over $999,999,999,999,999,999,999 might just buy me off if I’m not successful enough within one year… but if I improve, I can have anything I want, so money wouldn’t be a factor, would it?
And I too am pushed ahead a bit when I give up. But it only works once every giving up. And the getting back on my feet part has to last at least a week. It’s like my subconscious is taunting me with a taste of what I could be getting.
noooooo! Never! In the summer, I relaxed and gave my self a break from excessive RC’s and didn’t try and force myself into LD’s through WBTB exc. becasue I wanted to give my mind a break to see if that would increase LD’s when I went back to it (stupid idea but strangly enough it worked) But I still couldn’t give up RCs all together, and I found myself longing to be on LD4all 
I guess I’m addicted to lucid dreaming, oh well!
If I would have to make a choice between being the richest person on earth (I would have EVERYTHING I could ever want) but with no ability to LD, or being a rather poor person with no luxury at all, but who has the ability to LD, I’d DEFINITELY pick the last option. I don’t have to think about that. I prefer being poor on the outside instead of being poor on the inside. No way I’ll ever give up LDing!!
Never Never Never Never Never Never Never will I ever give up Lucid Dreams! I have practically made LD’s my life and I havent gave up yet. I promise to go on forever with Lucid Dreams. I will never switch…never!

Well if it was a choice between LDing or $1,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 then I’d take the cash. LDing is a huge amount of fun, but it’s a relatively small part of my life. It accounts for no more than a couple of hours a month.
Money would transform almost every aspect of my life for the better, and that of my friends and family, and charities of my choice, and passing strangers. No financial worries, more choices in life, better healthcare, better education for my kids etc. LDing just gives me occasional fun. I love it, but it’s not hugely important.
Not that it matters, since I’ll never need to make the choice. I plan to become disgustingly rich and continue LDing 
Hmm… I understand where Badcandlejack is coming from. LDing is nice for our own lives, but what about those around us? Family, friends, children… LDing is great and definitely important to me, but if you really did need the money to improve your life… Well, I would understand. You can’t hide in the dream world forever

With so much money as Dm7 said u could do so much good in this world that i would make the sacrifice for sure to never LD again…wow with that amount of money I could give the world economy and science and such a huge lift upwards

I really need the cash so I’d take money over LDing plus I wouldn’t be missing many LDs. My last LD was in April so no biggie. Now if I had LDs regulary(1 or more a month) I wouldn’t take the money.
as far as i am aware we cant give up lding so i would take the money and then i would still ld and i would like to c em stop me
Why not make it a reasonable offer?
You can have either the ability to lucid dream for however long you want, every single night, at the maximum level of power – OR – a realistic sum of money that extends into the billions of dollars (or equivalent in your country’s currency). Which one would you choose?
It goes without saying that I’d take the lucidity. Sure, with the cash you’d never have to work again, or otherwise do anything of even slight discomfort… but I stand by my choice. Just to be clear, the lucidity you experience is no less real than life itself. Unless you specifically request otherwise, even clocks work right.
