It’s pretty disappointing to see something like this. I personally didn’t feel that the movie made any attempt to sincerely tackle ANY of the accused points. The website above mentions this:
I my opinion, the movie does very little to offer any exposition to the existence of humanity, or the divine powers that supposedly govern the world. The story doesn’t present an alternate suggestion for the creation of man, nor does it question free-will.
Besides, why should anyone be offended at a fictional portrayal of biblical events that don’t align to the popular beliefs? It doesn’t claim to be insightful, it just promotes senseless entertainment. Are the people of Egypt that receptive to even the most unapparent references to alternate religions?
I bet it sucks to be brainwashed.
