I have never had a dream in my house… i heard that your house/room is like your soul… i guess i dont have much of a connection with it
I became lucid at my Nan’s recently which is only 2 miles away. The rest of my LD’s have started at home
In the times that I’ve been lucid (not much, only been 4-5 times in my entire lifetime!), they’ve been at my house. One of them was in my form room in my school.

I usually gain LD (when I do) in strange locations, whenever I dream in a known location I find that I usually believe I’m awake and all is well. The stranger the location the easier a RC will snap me to attention!
by the way, I find the reading one to be most effective in my case, no matter the circumstances, if i read something and check it again, seeing it change always surprises me big time! It’s hilarious, every time it happens I get this same ‘Hey! I’m dreaming! I’m awake in my dream!’ -going. 
LOL
Now that I got to thinking about it, it actually IS kind of funny. It gets me every time! Boredom isn’t an option in dream world, huh?!

I have more chances to become lucid in my house, because of the amount of digital clocks I have. Sometimes it just gets into my field of view, and here’s my ticket to lucidity.
Most of my WILDs originate at home, or otherwise familiar inviroments…
At the same time, most DILD and spontaneous LDs I had were in unfamiliar inviroment…
Almost all my LDs start from a dream of my parents’ house. Lately I have had quite a few dreams about the chatroom and got lucid in there. 
Maybe it’s easier to spot the small differences between reality and dreaming in a well-known place?
My first LD was in a mall, I had been in a mall that day, but this mall was completely different (except for one shop and the people in it).
My next two LDs (I think) I became lucid in a bathroom, neither looked much like my bathroom at home. My 4th LD I became lucid in my school.
I’ve only have been having lucid dreams for half a year or something, it must be to few to say something definitely, but I voted for familiar places. All the wake induced lucid dreams begin in my own room; I just cannot concentrate enough to begin with something else, though once I was near to begin a lucid dream in the places from the Red Faction game. However, even in dream-initiated dreams I usually get lucid when I find something strange in familiar places. I have many dreams about strange places I seem to have never been before, I even began to practice lucid dreams to explore them, but I never understand it is a dream when I am there. Maybe, that’s just because I am not quite myself in such dreams, I am too far from the person living on the sixth floor, doing reality checking near fountains and wishing to have a lucid dream…
I got lucid in my grandfather’s car, and in a vast nothingness before a dream started and on the great plains of nevada (lol) while smuggling mexicans
My normal dreams are usually at work or in my apartment here in Bodø, but lucid dreams almost always start from my parents’ house some 90 km away. It’s like being there by itself makes me lucid. Oh, and I get a lot of LDs on the nights between Saturday and Sunday, when i’m actually sleeping there.
I go lucid any random place.
I always get lucid in my bedroom.
I would say 60 % of the time I get lucid after a FA. The room I wake up in
usually looks like the bedroom I went to sleep in. But strangely, outside of my bedroom everything’s pretty much different all the time.
I’m usually at the house of a childhood friend, from long ago, in another city. Why I end up there I don’t know. Other times I’m on the street in front of my current home.
Most of my lucid dreams have occured within the home, seeing as its most familiar to me, and i recognize the small differences such as an extra couch, or different paintings or pics on walls.
I become Lucid in my permanent Dream Scape :o
once… I became lucid in a public resteroom, (that I had never been to before…) because I realized I didnt have to use it… 
It was in my house (started in my bro’s bedroom then the kitchen, living room and the back of my house) Im still trying to figure out how did i become lucid that 1st very lucid time?
I never get lucid in my house or familler enviorments, because thats just another reason to think i’m not dreaming. So when I LD its ushaully in a diffrent world or somewhere I ushally don’t go.
I always get lucid at home, or other familiar location a good idea but now I have NDs about malls. When I find myself in a really strange place I might become lucid or stay dreaming.
