I know at this time it would seem appropriate but last night I was hunting around on amazon.co.uk for the book Johnny Got His Gun by Dalton Trumbo after one reviewer said that after his awful bomb blast encounter Johnny becomes totally cut off from the real world and is from there on trapped in a world of myth and reality.
I have ordered a copy of the book which has an introduction by Dalton Trumbo but I’d like to hear if anyone has ever read the book, do dreams play an important part in Johnny’s bed-ridden existence?
