Is pasQuale your real name?
Yes, pasQuale is my real name. Only the capital letter has moved from the P to the Q, because I think the letter Q is cute. Oh and yes, I'm female. And no, I'm not Italian. I'm Dutch.
At what age did you have your first LD?
I was nearly 22. But I think I also did it when I was young. I used to decide what I wanted to dream about, and fell asleep with the dream I wanted (a popular one was riding an unicorn).
What was your first lucid dream?
I don't remember anymore. But the first dream in my dream diary is dated februari 26 1994 and at the end I mention:"... but already I had come to the conclusion I was dreaming and I woke up."
I can't become lucid, help!
For some it happens sooner than others. Try not to want it too much but just let it happen. Don't despair, be patient and don't give up.
Can you interpret my dream?

Was my dream a lucid dream?
If you realise in a dream you are dreaming, you are lucid. If you still have doubts please check in the forum.
Isn't it dangerous to dream lucidly?
No. That would be the same as saying dreaming is dangerous, because lucid dreaming is like dreaming, the only difference is that you know you are dreaming and your experience of it is much more intense.
Every time I realise I'm dreaming I wake up!
Maybe it is too big a shock for you, or maybe you become very enthousiastic when you realise you are dreaming. That is fatal for lucidity. Try to stay calm and use something like the spinning method as described in .
Can you only talk to persons in your dream?
You can talk with and to anything you like. You are in a dream, where everything is possible.
What is the best LD book for beginners?
